What we do
The Clinical Digital Resource Collaborative (CDRC), founded in 2018, is a collaboration between CBC Health Federation, Academic Health Science Network for the North East and North Cumbria (AHSN NENC), North of England Commissioning Support (NECS), Cumbria PRIMIS Informatics, with key strategic relationships with GP Federations and ICBs.
This is a North East and North Cumbria regional NHS owned digital resource with national reach. CBC Health Federation have been involved in this project from the start and we host the EMIS (GP Practice Clinical System) resources which are shared with GP practices across the North East.
How does it work?
Based at our Head Office our team help to develop and maintain referral letters and clinical templates for the EMIS system in partnership with the Allied Health Services Network, local GP practices, NHS Foundation Trusts, Northern Cancer Alliance, North East Commissioning Support Unit and other NHS and voluntary organisations involved in the health and wellbeing of patients across the North East.

CDRC improves performance management with a suite of searches/reports which provide real-time data on many aspects of clinical performance. Through its central repository CDRC saves time and money by preventing clinicians across our region having to reinvent and create digital resources by facilitating a central repository.
